Draw Human Figures

SIZE: 11 x 14
MATERIALS: Pencil
WHAT I WANTED TO PORTRAY: I gave myself a challenge by drawing these figures in odd poses. I like that I was able to make them look like they could actually do the poses. And I unlocked an achievement - Hands - draw hands that actually look like hands. YAY ME!!!

Value Sphere

SIZE: 11 x 14
MATERIALS: Pencil
WHAT I WANTED TO PORTRAY: I think this turned out really well! I love how this class has pushed me out of my cartoonist style and made me think a little more about what I am doing.

Clay Play

SIZE: Approx. 6 in tall
MATERIALS: Colored Clay.
WHAT I WANTED TO PORTRAY: This is a tree. A tree with a face. A tree with a face and freckles. A tree with a face and freckles and very odd leaves. A tree with a face and freckles and very odd leaves should be accepted as a normal tree in some parallel universe that we have no knowledge of yet. This tree with a face and freckles and very odd leaves that should be accepted as a normal tree in some parallel universe that we have no knowledge of yet; I believe that just because we have no knowledge of this tree with a face and freckles and very odd leaves form a parallel universe does not make it abnormal.

Draw Fruit

SIZE: 11 x 14
MATERIALS: Pencil
WHAT I WANTED TO PORTRAY: I tried to make this as realistic looking as possible. Realist art is not one of my strong points. Even though a pumpkin is not classified as a fruit, I thought that a jack - o - lantern would be quite festive! This art perfectionism, IT'S KILLING ME! I had to totally redo this drawing because I HATED the previous one I did. And doing a realistic pumpkin, instead of my usual cartoonist style.

Create Earth art

SIZE: Approx. 17 x 10 in
MATERIALS: Wood chips, Purple leaves, Green leaves
WHAT I WANTED TO PORTRAY: I haven't ever done earth art before! This was interesting. My butt got really cold sitting there on the driveway. The lizard could of looked better, but earth art is apparently not one of my strong points.
